Clinics and Services

Asthma, Diabetes and Coronary Heart Disease

These clinics are run by the practice nurses who carry out various tests and advise on aspects of health care.

Travel Clinic

Our practice nurses run a travel clinic which is very popular so ensure that you book your appointments early if you are planning holidays abroad, please ensure that you book into the travel clinic well in advance of your trip, so that any necessary immunisation is completed in time.

NB: Please request your vaccinations as soon as you have booked your travel arrangements. Some vaccinations must be given 2 weeks prior to travel in order for them to be effective so we ask that you complete the travel request form at least 6 weeks prior to your travels. This is to ensure that you are protected.

Some travel vaccinations are not provided as part of NHS services and you may be required to pay directly for the cost of some vaccines.

Maternity Services

Care of pregnant women is usually shared between your doctor, the midwife and the hospital. Our midwife holds regular antenatal clinics and appointments for her can be made at reception.

Child Development Clinics

8 week development checks for babies are provided by the doctors.

Child Immunisation

Baby immunisations are performed by the practice nurses. If you have any queries regarding the immunisation of your baby please discuss with your Health Visitor or the doctor.

Smears

These are carried out by the practice nurses by appointment only which can be made via the main reception.
